Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using ReadBible, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this site.
Description of Service
ReadBible provides free Bible study tools including verse lookup, daily verses, quizzes, reading plans, verse comparison, bookmarks, notes, prayer features, and a blessing Wall. All services are provided as-is for educational and personal study purposes.
Intellectual Property
All Bible verses displayed on ReadBible are from the King James Version (KJV) and the Chinese Union Version (和合本, CUV 1919), both of which are in the public domain. Original content such as articles, reflections, themes, and descriptions are copyright ReadBible and may not be reproduced without permission.
User Accounts
Some features require a Google account (via Google OAuth). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
User-Generated Content (UGC)
ReadBible allows users to post content on the Blessing Wall and Prayer Wall. By posting content, you grant ReadBible a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute that content on the service. You agree that you will NOT post: • Content that is unlawful, hateful, threatening, harassing, or defamatory • Personal information about others (names, addresses, phone numbers, etc.) • Spam, advertising, or promotional content • Content that infringes on others' intellectual property rights • Content that could harm minors • Content in violation of applicable local, national, or international laws We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these rules, without notice. We may also suspend or terminate accounts for repeated violations. We do not pre-screen user content, but we will act on reports promptly.
Content Moderation & Reporting
If you encounter content on ReadBible that you believe violates these Terms, please report it to contact@readbible.space with a description of the content and its location. We will review and take appropriate action, which may include content removal and account suspension.
Disclaimer of Warranties
ReadBible is provided for educational and study purposes only. We make no warranties about the accuracy of supplemental content beyond the scripture text itself. The service is provided "as is" without any guarantees.
Limitation of Liability
ReadBible shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of this site or its content, including but not limited to user-generated content. Use of the site is at your own risk.
Spiritual & Medical Disclaimer
ReadBible is a study and reference tool. Content on this site, including prayer features, healing verses, and reflections, is generated by algorithms and human editors — not by divine revelation. Language such as "God's Word for You" reflects algorithmic verse matching, not a claim of divine communication. ReadBible is not a substitute for professional medical advice, mental health treatment, or pastoral counseling. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified professional or emergency services.
Account Deletion & Data Rights
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data (bookmarks, notes, prayers, blessings) at any time by contacting contact@readbible.space. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China). Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in Taipei, Taiwan.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of ReadBible after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
