（ 上 行 （ 或 作 登 階， 下 同 ） 之 詩。 ） 我 在 急 難 中 求 告 耶 和 華， 他 就 應 允 我。
In my distress I cried unto the LORD, and he heard me.
2
耶 和 華 啊， 求 你 救 我 脫 離 說 謊 的 嘴 唇 和 詭 詐 的 舌 頭 ！
Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue.
3
詭 詐 的 舌 頭 啊， 要 給 你 甚 麼 呢 ？ 要 拿 甚 麼 加 給 你 呢 ？
What shall be given unto thee? or what shall be done unto thee, thou false tongue?

就 是 勇 士 的 利 箭 和 羅 騰 木 （ 小 樹 名， 松 類 ） 的 炭 火。
Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper.

我 寄 居 在 米 設， 住 在 基 達 帳 棚 之 中， 有 禍 了 ！
Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar!

我 與 那 恨 惡 和 睦 的 人 許 久 同 住。
My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace.
7
我 願 和 睦， 但 我 發 言， 他 們 就 要 爭 戰。
I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war.
