我 兒， 你 若 為 朋 友 作 保， 替 外 人 擊 掌，
My son, if thou be surety for thy friend, if thou hast stricken thy hand with a stranger,

為別人作保要小心——你的好意可能變成陷阱。沒有智慧的慷慨可能導致不必要的糾纏。
你 就 被 口 中 的 話 語 纏 住， 被 嘴 裡 的 言 語 捉 住。
Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.
屬靈感悟
你自己的話可以纏住你——倉促的承諾可以變成牢籠。承諾之前先想想，因為你的口能製造你心裡沒打算承擔的義務。
我 兒， 你 既 落 在 朋 友 手 中， 就 當 這 樣 行 才 可 救 自 己 ： 你 要 自 卑， 去 懇 求 你 的 朋 友。
Do this now, my son, and deliver thyself, when thou art come into the hand of thy friend; go, humble thyself, and make sure thy friend.

如果你被自己的承諾困住了，趕快行動釋放自己——謙卑自己去把事情處理好。緊急修復錯誤是智慧的標記。
不 要 容 你 的 眼 睛 睡 覺 ； 不 要 容 你 的 眼 皮 打 盹。
Give not sleep to thine eyes, nor slumber to thine eyelids.

連覺都不要睡——帶著迫切去解決事情。有些問題只會隨時間惡化；越早行動，損害越小。
要 救 自 己， 如 鹿 脫 離 獵 戶 的 手， 如 鳥 脫 離 捕 鳥 人 的 手。
Deliver thyself as a roe from the hand of the hunter, and as a bird from the hand of the fowler.

像鹿從獵人手中救出自己——不要在危險的處境中徘徊。當你看見陷阱，就跑。逃離愚昧並不丟臉。
懶 惰 人 哪， 你 去 察 看 螞 蟻 的 動 作 就 可 得 智 慧。
Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:

連螞蟻都有東西可以教你——沒有人指揮它，它卻勤奮工作。神的創造中充滿了教訓，給那些願意觀察的人。
螞 蟻 沒 有 元 帥， 沒 有 官 長， 沒 有 君 王，
Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler,

螞蟻不需要監工——它的動力來自內在。真正的勤奮不需要外在壓力；它源於內在的目標感和責任感。
尚 且 在 夏 天 預 備 食 物， 在 收 割 時 聚 斂 糧 食。
Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest.

螞蟻在夏天預備，在收割時聚斂——它在機會來的時候就做工。智慧意味著在對的時間做對的工作，不要拖延。
懶 惰 人 哪， 你 要 睡 到 幾 時 呢 ？ 你 何 時 睡 醒 呢 ？
How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep?

你要睡到幾時呢，懶惰人？這裡有一個帶著關愛但堅定的提醒——是時候起來行動了。安逸可能是目標的敵人。
再 睡 片 時， 打 盹 片 時， 抱 著 手 躺 臥 片 時，
Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:

再睡片時，再打盹片時——總是從小處開始。危險不在於一天的懶惰，而在於「再多一點點」的模式悄悄變成了生活方式。
你 的 貧 窮 就 必 如 強 盜 速 來， 你 的 缺 乏 彷 彿 拿 兵 器 的 人 來 到。
So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy want as an armed man.

貧窮像賊一樣悄悄逼近——不是一下子，而是持續不斷。每天重複的小妥協，終會創造出你從未想過的收穫。
無 賴 的 惡 徒， 行 動 就 用 乖 僻 的 口，
A naughty person, a wicked man, walketh with a froward mouth.

一個邪惡的人不只是做錯——他們說錯、走錯、活錯。腐敗從裡到外流露出來，嘴巴顯露心裡隱藏的東西。
用 眼 傳 神， 用 腳 示 意， 用 指 點 劃，
He winketh with his eyes, he speaketh with his feet, he teacheth with his fingers;

肢體語言訴說著自己的故事——眨眼、示意、用手指比劃。當有人用暗號溝通，通常意味著有什麼要隱藏。
心 中 乖 僻， 常 設 惡 謀， 布 散 紛 爭。
Frowardness is in his heart, he deviseth mischief continually; he soweth discord.
屬靈感悟
心中圖謀奸惡，不斷地散佈紛爭——這不是意外，而是心裡的習慣。一個挑起衝突的人，走到哪裡都帶著內心的風暴。
所 以， 災 難 必 忽 然 臨 到 他 身 ； 他 必 頃 刻 敗 壞， 無 法 可 治。
Therefore shall his calamity come suddenly; suddenly shall he be broken without remedy.
屬靈感悟
災難突然臨到，無可救藥——沒有警告，沒有第二次機會。建立在奸惡之上的生活終究會在自身重量下崩塌。
耶 和 華 所 恨 惡 的 有 六 樣， 連 他 心 所 憎 惡 的 共 有 七 樣 ：
These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:

有些事是神特別恨惡的——祂要你知道那是什麼。這不是隨意的憤怒，而是清晰的道德指南針，指向遠離毀滅的方向。
就 是 高 傲 的 眼， 撒 謊 的 舌， 流 無 辜 人 血 的 手，
A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,

眼中的驕傲、口中的謊言、流無辜人血的手——這些不是小瑕疵。它們正是破壞人類社會結構的東西。
圖 謀 惡 計 的 心， 飛 跑 行 惡 的 腳，
An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,

圖謀惡計的心和急於行惡的腳——這是罪從想像到執行的完整管線。神既看見計劃，也看見奔跑。
吐 謊 言 的 假 見 證， 並 弟 兄 中 布 散 紛 爭 的 人。
A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

吐謊言的假見證和在弟兄中散佈紛爭的人——這完成了清單。破壞信任和破壞群體是神最痛心的事之一。
我 兒， 要 謹 守 你 父 親 的 誡 命 ； 不 可 離 棄 你 母 親 的 法 則 （ 或 譯 ： 指 教 ），
My son, keep thy father’s commandment, and forsake not the law of thy mother:

謹守父親的誡命，不離棄母親的法則——這呼喚像副歌一樣回響。父母的智慧是你隨身攜帶的禮物。
要 常 繫 在 你 心 上， 掛 在 你 項 上。
Bind them continually upon thine heart, and tie them about thy neck.

把它們繫在你心上，戴在你頸項上——讓它們成為你永遠的一部分。神的智慧應當像你自己的心跳一樣親近而持久。
你 行 走， 他 必 引 導 你 ； 你 躺 臥， 他 必 保 守 你 ； 你 睡 醒， 他 必 與 你 談 論。
When thou goest, it shall lead thee; when thou sleepest, it shall keep thee; and when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee.

這些教導隨你到任何地方——引導你的步伐、守護你的睡眠、在你醒來時對你說話。神的話是24小時不離開你身邊的伴侶。
因 為 誡 命 是 燈， 法 則 （ 或 譯 ： 指 教 ） 是 光， 訓 誨 的 責 備 是 生 命 的 道，
For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:

誡命是燈，法則是光——它們照亮前方的路。責備不是懲罰；它是生命之道，指示你下一步該踩在哪裡。
能 保 你 遠 離 惡 婦， 遠 離 外 女 諂 媚 的 舌 頭。
To keep thee from the evil woman, from the flattery of the tongue of a strange woman.

神話語的實際目的之一就是保護——使你免受誘惑和諂媚。祂的真理是抵擋引人走向毀滅之魅力的盾牌。
你 心 中 不 要 戀 慕 他 的 美 色， 也 不 要 被 他 眼 皮 勾 引。
Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids.
屬靈感悟
不要讓美貌成為陷阱——心中的慾望才是真正爭戰開始的地方。情慾始於一眼，但扎根在內心深處。
因 為， 妓 女 能 使 人 只 剩 一 塊 餅 ； 淫 婦 獵 取 人 寶 貴 的 生 命。
For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread: and the adulteress will hunt for the precious life.
屬靈感悟
誘惑把人貶低到一塊餅的價值——它剝奪一切尊嚴和價值。獵人追尋寶貴的生命，但被抓住的代價是一切。
人 若 懷 裡 搋 火， 衣 服 豈 能 不 燒 呢 ？
Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned?
屬靈感悟
你不可能把火放在懷裡而不燒到衣服——這是自然法則。同樣地，你不可能玩弄誘惑而不帶著傷疤。
人 若 在 火 炭 上 走， 腳 豈 能 不 燙 呢 ？
Can one go upon hot coals, and his feet not be burned?
屬靈感悟
走在炭火上而不燙傷腳？不可能。有些後果就是無可避免的——唯一的智慧就是一開始就不要走過去。
親 近 鄰 舍 之 妻 的， 也 是 如 此 ； 凡 挨 近 他 的， 不 免 受 罰。
So he that goeth in to his neighbour’s wife; whosoever toucheth her shall not be innocent.
屬靈感悟
觸摸別人的配偶留下洗不掉的污點——揮之不去的內疚。這不是你可以輕率跨越的界線；後果是永久的。
賊 因 飢 餓 偷 竊 充 飢， 人 不 藐 視 他，
Men do not despise a thief, if he steal to satisfy his soul when he is hungry;

人們理解因飢餓而偷竊的賊——絕望贏得了一些同情。但理解動機並不能消除後果。
若 被 找 著， 他 必 賠 還 七 倍， 必 將 家 中 所 有 的 盡 都 償 還。
But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all the substance of his house.
屬靈感悟
即使令人同情的賊也必須七倍償還——即使我們理解原因，公義仍然有效。憐憫和問責可以共存。
與 婦 人 行 淫 的， 便 是 無 知 ； 行 這 事 的， 必 喪 掉 生 命。
But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul.
屬靈感悟
姦淫毀壞靈魂本身——不只是錯誤，而是自我毀滅。犯這事的人在最深層的意義上缺乏理解。
他 必 受 傷 損， 必 被 凌 辱 ； 他 的 羞 恥 不 得 塗 抹。
A wound and dishonour shall he get; and his reproach shall not be wiped away.
屬靈感悟
創傷和羞辱，無法恢復的名聲——罪的傷害遠遠超過行為本身。它改寫了別人怎麼看你，以及你怎麼看自己。
因 為 人 的 嫉 恨 成 了 烈 怒， 報 仇 的 時 候 決 不 留 情。
For jealousy is the rage of a man: therefore he will not spare in the day of vengeance.
屬靈感悟
嫉妒是猛烈的火焰——它吞噬理性和憐憫。被背叛配偶的憤怒不是可以談判解決的。
甚 麼 贖 價， 他 都 不 顧 ； 你 雖 送 許 多 禮 物， 他 也 不 肯 干 休。
He will not regard any ransom; neither will he rest content, though thou givest many gifts.
屬靈感悟
再多的補償也無法挽回背叛的傷害——有些損害是買不回來的。這是智慧嚴峻的提醒：有些選擇的代價是不可逆的。
