約 拿 在 魚 腹 中 禱 告 耶 和 華 ─ 他 的 神，
Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish’s belly,

約拿終於禱告了——在魚腹中。花了鯨魚的肚子才讓他跪下來。有時我們必須跌到谷底（或海底）才終於與神對話。
說 ： 我 遭 遇 患 難 求 告 耶 和 華， 你 就 應 允 我 ； 從 陰 間 的 深 處 呼 求， 你 就 俯 聽 我 的 聲 音。
And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice.
屬靈感悟
從絕望的深處，約拿呼求，神聽見了。我們和神之間的距離從不以英里衡量——而是以意願來衡量。即使從墳墓的邊緣，神也傾聽。
你 將 我 投 下 深 淵， 就 是 海 的 深 處 ； 大 水 環 繞 我， 你 的 波 浪 洪 濤 都 漫 過 我 身。
For thou hadst cast me into the deep, in the midst of the seas; and the floods compassed me about: all thy billows and thy waves passed over me.
屬靈感悟
約拿承認是神把他投入深淵——不是水手。甚至他自己叛逆的後果也在神的手中。沒有什麼超出神的掌控，甚至我們的懲罰。
我 說 ： 我 從 你 眼 前 雖 被 驅 逐， 我 仍 要 仰 望 你 的 聖 殿。
Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look again toward thy holy temple.
屬靈感悟
被從神眼前驅逐——但即使在那時，約拿仍仰望聖殿。盼望不否認黑暗；它在其中找到方向。「我仍要仰望」可能是信心最勇敢的句子。
諸 水 環 繞 我， 幾 乎 淹 沒 我 ； 深 淵 圍 住 我 ； 海 草 纏 繞 我 的 頭。
The waters compassed me about, even to the soul: the depth closed me round about, the weeds were wrapped about my head.
屬靈感悟
海草纏繞他的頭，水從四面圍住——窒息感是生動的。當生活從四面八方壓迫時，難以呼吸，難以思考。但即使在這裡，神也沒有缺席。
我 下 到 山 根， 地 的 門 將 我 永 遠 關 住。 耶 和 華 ─ 我 的 神 啊， 你 卻 將 我 的 性 命 從 坑 中 救 出 來。
I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me for ever: yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption, O LORD my God.
屬靈感悟
地的門將他永遠關住——但神將他從坑中救出來。「永遠」持續到神決定結束為止。沒有坑比神的臂膀更深。
我 心 在 我 裡 面 發 昏 的 時 候， 我 就 想 念 耶 和 華。 我 的 禱 告 進 入 你 的 聖 殿， 達 到 你 的 面 前。
When my soul fainted within me I remembered the LORD: and my prayer came in unto thee, into thine holy temple.
屬靈感悟
當他的靈魂發昏時，他想起了神。有時需要昏厥——完全的耗盡——才終於記起一直在那裡的那一位。記憶可以是回歸生命的第一步。
那 信 奉 虛 無 之 神 的 人， 離 棄 憐 愛 他 們 的 主 ；
They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.
屬靈感悟
那些信奉虛無之神的人，離棄了本可屬於他們的憐憫。這是一個安靜的悲劇——用真正的恩典換取空洞的東西。我們都有自己的「虛無之物」。問題是我們是否願意放手。
但 我 必 用 感 謝 的 聲 音 獻 祭 與 你。 我 所 許 的 願， 我 必 償 還。 救 恩 出 於 耶 和 華。
But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the LORD.
屬靈感悟
救恩出於耶和華——最簡單、最深刻的宣告。不是出於努力，不是出於功勞，不是出於運氣。就是出於神。約拿說的其他一切在這五個字面前都縮小了。
耶 和 華 吩 咐 魚， 魚 就 把 約 拿 吐 在 旱 地 上。
And the LORD spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.
屬靈感悟
神吩咐魚，魚就把約拿吐在旱地上。那曾是他監獄的魚成了他回到生命的交通工具。神使用甚至最奇怪的方式來恢復我們。
