Revelation 第 13
KJV — King James Version · 18 節
And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
Spiritual Insight
A beast rises from the sea, monstrous and powerful, wearing crowns of blasphemy. The world's systems often look impressive but carry names that mock God. Learn to see beyond the surface.
And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
Spiritual Insight
Leopard, bear, lion—the beast combines the fiercest predators, empowered by the dragon himself. Evil often masquerades as strength, borrowing power from the enemy. True strength comes only from above.
And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
Spiritual Insight
A deadly wound healed—the whole world marvels. What looks like a miracle of restoration can actually be a deception. Not every impressive recovery is from God. Discernment matters more than ever.
And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
Spiritual Insight
They worship the dragon and the beast, amazed by power. The world often bows before might instead of right. Don't let raw power impress you into worship—only God deserves that place in your heart.
And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.
Spiritual Insight
The beast is given authority for forty-two months—a limited time. Even evil's reign has an expiration date set by God. Whatever you're enduring, it has a deadline. Hold on.
And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
Spiritual Insight
Blasphemy against God, His tabernacle, and heaven's dwellers—open hostility toward everything holy. When the world mocks what you hold sacred, remember: it mocked your Savior first.
And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
Spiritual Insight
Power to make war against the saints and overcome them—this is painful to read. But 'overcome' here is temporary. The saints' ultimate victory is assured, even when the present looks like defeat.
And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
Spiritual Insight
Only those whose names are not in the book of life worship the beast. Your identity in God's book is your ultimate protection. Make sure your name is written there—it changes everything.
If any man have an ear, let him hear.
Spiritual Insight
'If anyone has an ear, let him hear'—a simple plea that carries weight. God is always speaking; the question is whether we're listening. Slow down today and tune your heart to His frequency.
He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
Spiritual Insight
The patience and faith of the saints—here is the call in the face of injustice. Not every wrong will be righted immediately, but God sees. Your endurance is not wasted; it is witnessed.
And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
Spiritual Insight
Another beast, looking like a lamb but speaking like a dragon—the most dangerous deceptions wear gentle faces. Not everything that looks holy is holy. Test every spirit; look past appearances to the words spoken.
And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
Spiritual Insight
The second beast enforces worship of the first—coercion disguised as devotion. Pressures to conform will come, sometimes from surprising sources. Stand firm in your convictions, even when it costs you.
And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
Spiritual Insight
Fire from heaven at the beast's command—counterfeit miracles to deceive. Spectacular doesn't always mean divine. The enemy can dazzle, but only God can truly transform. Look for fruit, not fireworks.
And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
Spiritual Insight
Miracles used to deceive—power without truth is dangerous. The ability to do wonders is not proof of God's presence. Always anchor yourself in Scripture; let truth be your north star.
And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
Spiritual Insight
The image is given breath—it speaks and kills those who refuse to worship. The pressure to bow will be intense, but death for faithfulness is not the end of the story. It's the beginning of something eternal.
And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
Spiritual Insight
All people—small and great, rich and poor—are forced to receive the mark. The pressure to conform reaches every level of society. No one is exempt from the choice: whose mark will you bear?
And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Spiritual Insight
No buying or selling without the mark—economic exclusion for the faithful. Following God may cost you materially, but what you gain spiritually is worth infinitely more. Count the cost, and choose well.
Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
Spiritual Insight
Six hundred sixty-six—the number of the beast, a number of a man. Wisdom and understanding are needed to navigate these times. Ask God for discernment; He gives generously to those who ask.
