當 猶 大 王 亞 們 的 兒 子 約 西 亞 在 位 的 時 候， 耶 和 華 的 話 臨 到 希 西 家 的 玄 孫， 亞 瑪 利 雅 的 曾 孫， 基 大 利 的 孫 子， 古 示 的 兒 子 西 番 雅。
The word of the LORD which came unto Zephaniah the son of Cushi, the son of Gedaliah, the son of Amariah, the son of Hizkiah, in the days of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah.

神的話在約西亞王年間臨到西番雅——一個改革的時期。即使在復興的季節，神仍發出警告。復興不意味著我們可以停止聆聽。
耶 和 華 說 ： 我 必 從 地 上 除 滅 萬 類。
I will utterly consume all things from off the land, saith the LORD.
屬靈感悟
我必從地上除滅萬類。這些是毀滅性的話——完全的移除。這是一個令人清醒的提醒，神認真對待祂創造物的腐敗。

I will consume man and beast; I will consume the fowls of the heaven, and the fishes of the sea, and the stumbling blocks with the wicked: and I will cut off man from off the land, saith the LORD.

人、動物、鳥、魚——沒有什麼能逃脫。審判的範圍是整個受造界，因為罪感染了一切。令人驚愕的現實：人的叛逆損害了整個受造物。
我 必 伸 手 攻 擊 猶 大 和 耶 路 撒 冷 的 一 切 居 民， 也 必 從 這 地 方 剪 除 所 剩 下 的 巴 力， 並 基 瑪 林 的 名 和 祭 司，
I will also stretch out mine hand upon Judah, and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and I will cut off the remnant of Baal from this place, and the name of the Chemarims with the priests;

神要伸手攻擊猶大和耶路撒冷——祂自己的子民。被揀選不意味著豁免；它意味著被更高的標準要求。特權帶來責任。
與 那 些 在 房 頂 上 敬 拜 天 上 萬 象 的， 並 那 些 敬 拜 耶 和 華 指 著 他 起 誓， 又 指 著 瑪 勒 堪 起 誓 的，
And them that worship the host of heaven upon the housetops; and them that worship and that swear by the LORD, and that swear by Malcham;

有些人同時敬拜神和其他神——兩邊下注。雙重敬拜不是虔誠；它是妥協。神不會與競爭的忠誠分享寶座。
與 那 些 轉 去 不 跟 從 耶 和 華 的， 和 不 尋 求 耶 和 華 也 不 訪 問 他 的。
And them that are turned back from the LORD; and those that have not sought the LORD, nor enquired for him.

有些人轉去了，另一些人從未尋求過神。屬靈失敗的範圍很廣——從積極的叛逆到消極的冷漠。兩者都到達同一個地方：遠離神。

Hold thy peace at the presence of the Lord GOD: for the day of the LORD is at hand: for the LORD hath prepared a sacrifice, he hath bid his guests.

在主耶和華面前靜默——耶和華的日子快到。沉默不是缺席；它是敬畏。在審判降臨之前，有一個神聖的寂靜。有些時刻比言語更需要安靜。

And it shall come to pass in the day of the LORD’s sacrifice, that I will punish the princes, and the king’s children, and all such as are clothed with strange apparel.

到 那 日， 我 必 懲 罰 一 切 跳 過 門 檻 、 將 強 暴 和 詭 詐 得 來 之 物 充 滿 主 人 房 屋 的。
In the same day also will I punish all those that leap on the threshold, which fill their masters’ houses with violence and deceit.

那些跳過門檻、用強暴和詭詐之物充滿主人房屋的人——利用宗教作為剝削的掩護。將敬拜與邪惡混合是對神特別冒犯的組合。
耶 和 華 說 ： 當 那 日， 從 魚 門 必 發 出 悲 哀 的 聲 音， 從 二 城 發 出 哀 號 的 聲 音， 從 山 間 發 出 大 破 裂 的 響 聲。
And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD, that there shall be the noise of a cry from the fish gate, and an howling from the second, and a great crashing from the hills.
屬靈感悟
從魚門發出悲聲，二城哀號，山間大破裂聲——城市崩潰的聲音。審判不是安靜的。當東西破碎時，每個人都聽得見。
瑪 革 提 施 的 居 民 哪， 你 們 要 哀 號， 因 為 迦 南 的 商 民 都 滅 亡 了 ！ 凡 搬 運 銀 子 的 都 被 剪 除。
Howl, ye inhabitants of Maktesh, for all the merchant people are cut down; all they that bear silver are cut off.
屬靈感悟
商民被剪除——城市的商業心臟停止跳動。看似永久的財富在一瞬間蒸發。金錢買不到神那日的保護。
那 時， 我 必 用 燈 巡 查 耶 路 撒 冷 ； 我 必 懲 罰 那 些 如 酒 在 渣 滓 上 澄 清 的 ； 他 們 心 裡 說 ： 耶 和 華 必 不 降 福， 也 不 降 禍。
And it shall come to pass at that time, that I will search Jerusalem with candles, and punish the men that are settled on their lees: that say in their heart, The LORD will not do good, neither will he do evil.
屬靈感悟
神必用燈巡查耶路撒冷——沒有什麼是隱藏的。那些說「神不降福也不降禍」的人即將發現並非如此。屬靈的冷漠本身就是它的審判。
他 們 的 財 寶 必 成 為 掠 物 ； 他 們 的 房 屋 必 變 為 荒 場。 他 們 必 建 造 房 屋， 卻 不 得 住 在 其 內 ； 栽 種 葡 萄 園， 卻 不 得 喝 所 出 的 酒。
Therefore their goods shall become a booty, and their houses a desolation: they shall also build houses, but not inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, but not drink the wine thereof.

他們建造房屋卻不得住，栽種葡萄園卻不得喝所出的酒。所有的努力、所有的勞動——都消失了。沒有神的生活意味著你建造的一切都是暫時的。
耶 和 華 的 大 日 臨 近， 臨 近 而 且 甚 快， 乃 是 耶 和 華 日 子 的 風 聲 ； 勇 士 必 痛 痛 地 哭 號。
The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.

耶和華的大日臨近且甚快——勇士必痛哭。速度和突然性是神審判的特徵。它不會遲到；它會在恰好設定的時刻到來。
那 日 是 忿 怒 的 日 子， 是 急 難 困 苦 的 日 子， 是 荒 廢 淒 涼 的 日 子， 是 黑 暗 幽 冥 、 密 雲 烏 黑 的 日 子，
That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness,
屬靈感悟
忿怒、急難、荒廢、黑暗、幽冥的日子。絕望詞彙的堆疊是刻意的——這日子在每個維度都是可怕的。沒有任何角度看起來是可控的。

A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers.

吹角吶喊攻擊堅固城和高台——即使最強的防禦也是目標。沒有一面牆夠高，沒有一座塔夠高到能逃脫神的觸及。
我 必 使 災 禍 臨 到 人 身 上， 使 他 們 行 走 如 同 瞎 眼 的， 因 為 得 罪 了 我。 他 們 的 血 必 倒 出 如 灰 塵 ； 他 們 的 肉 必 拋 棄 如 糞 土。
And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the LORD: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung.
屬靈感悟
人要像瞎子一樣行走，因為他們得罪了耶和華。罪使人瞎眼——不是一下子，而是漸漸的，直到你看不見前面的路。迷失方向本身就是懲罰。
當 耶 和 華 發 怒 的 日 子， 他 們 的 金 銀 不 能 救 他 們 ； 他 的 忿 怒 如 火 必 燒 滅 全 地， 毀 滅 這 地 的 一 切 居 民， 而 且 大 大 毀 滅。
Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD’s wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.

金銀不能救他們。財富是人們在危機中第一個跑向的東西，也是第一個失效的東西。在那日，只有神自己是避難所。
