Revelation 第 4
KJV — King James Version · 11 節
After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
Spiritual Insight
A door standing open in heaven and an invitation to 'come up here' — God is always calling you higher. There are perspectives He can only show you when you're willing to ascend.
And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.
Spiritual Insight
Immediately John was in the Spirit, and a throne appeared — the center of everything is not chaos but a throne. Whatever swirls around you, God is seated and steady at the center.
And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.
Spiritual Insight
Jasper, carnelian, and an emerald rainbow — God's throne radiates beauty, not just power. The One who governs the universe does so surrounded by colors that take your breath away.
And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.
Spiritual Insight
Twenty-four elders on thrones with crowns of gold — there is order and honor in heaven. Those who have gone before you are not gone; they are worshipping in positions of glory.
And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.
Spiritual Insight
Lightning, thunder, voices, and seven blazing lamps — God's throne is not a quiet museum piece. It pulses with energy and the sevenfold Spirit, alive and active on your behalf.
And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.
Spiritual Insight
A sea of glass like crystal before the throne — utter stillness and clarity at God's feet. In His presence, the storms settle into a crystal-clear calm that no ocean on earth can match.
And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.
Spiritual Insight
Lion, calf, human face, flying eagle — four living creatures embodying strength, service, wisdom, and transcendence. God's creation reflects His character in ways we're still discovering.
And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, LORD God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.
Spiritual Insight
They never stop saying 'Holy, holy, holy' — day and night, the worship never pauses. If heaven's schedule is unbroken praise, maybe our lives could use more of that rhythm too.
And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever,
Spiritual Insight
When the creatures give glory, honor, and thanks — gratitude is woven into heaven's DNA. Thankfulness isn't just a polite habit; it's the natural response to seeing God as He truly is.
The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,
Spiritual Insight
The elders cast their crowns before the throne — even the highest rewards are laid down in worship. Everything you achieve finds its true meaning when offered back to the One who gave it.
Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
Spiritual Insight
You are worthy, for You created all things by Your will — creation wasn't an accident but a deliberate act of love. You exist because God wanted you to, and that makes your life sacred ground.
